The Wait is Over set GameWeek Points Record

Frank Lampard scored 29 points for The Wait is Over

The Wait is Over scored 88 points in GameWeek7 which is a new record for this season. The Wait is over climb two places to 6th and are 16 points behind 5th placed El Tel’s Relocated to Liverpool Stamford Bridge Blue Army. Pear Tree Productions leapfrog ABCDE FC Beerbelly into second place after scoring 64 points. The Rock Ridge Raiders remain top of the league and lead Pear Tree Productions by just 8 points after they scored 42 points.

The Lamps and Sturridge Show
Subbed before the second half in the gameweek five match at Old Trafford and dropped for last week’s home clash with Swansea, it’s clear Frank Lampard (The Wait is Over) will be prone to rotation this season. The midfielder’s start and subsequent hat-trick at Bolton yesterday, while serving a reminder of his ability to still deliver, only adds to the Fantasy frustration- clearly Lampard still has enough in the engine to produce when given the chance by Andre Villas-Boas. Given his manager’s recent selection policy, though, there’s no guarantee he’ll even start next time round.

Daniel Sturridge (The Wait is Over) -in only his third appearance of the season- is already Chelsea’s top-scoring forward. Unlike Lampard, Sturridge has started every game when available and his two goals and an assist, aided by some dodgy goalkeeping, scored 18 points and will will surely looking to start in the gameweek eight home clash with Everton.

Robin van Persie was Escape from Victory's Top Performer

The Rock Ridge Raiders remain top of the fantasy league despite their lowest weekly score of the season so far, 32. Escape from Victory were GameWeek 6’s top performers as they scored 66 points.

Robin Van Persie (Escape from Victory) returned to form, while Frank Lampard (The Wait is Over) cut a lonesome figure on the Chelsea bench as the Blues cruised against Swansea. Luis Suarez (Beercelona) rewarded the patience of his manager and Demba Ba opened his account with a three-goal haul at home to Blackburn. Stoke demonstrated their obstinate home streak against Man United, while Nani (The Rock Ridge Raiders) served a reminder of his consistency with another strong performance as the champions stay ahead of Man City on goal difference.
