Rules

Players will score points for Premier League matches for the 2016/17 season.

Team Selection

A manager may enter one team for Fantasy Football League 2016/17. Teams must consist of 11 players comprising one of the following formations:-

1 GK 1 GK 1 GK 1 GK 1 GK 1 GK
5 DF 4 DF 4 DF 4 DF 3 DF 3 DF
3 MF 4 MF 3 MF 5 MF 4 MF 5 MF
2 ST 2 ST 3 ST 1 ST 3 ST 2 ST

Once you have decided on your formation you will be able to change it during the course of the season by making the relevant transfers.

There is a limit of 3 players you can select from any one Premier League club for your team.

Each player has been given a value. The total value of your team must not exceed £100 million.

Players can only play in their designated position. For example, you can’t play a defender as a striker.

Transfers

After selecting your team you can make unlimited transfers over the course of the season. Transfers can only be made in between gameweek’s, if you lodge an interest in a player on Monday, but the gameweek doesn’t finish until Tuesday, the bid will go live on Wednesday.

There is a cut-off  which is 13:00 every day. The weekly cut off will be on Friday, this is to allow for any potential bidding wars to finish in time for Saturday’s games

Dropping 1 player from your team and signing a replacement is considered to be 1 transfer.

The ownership of a player will be determined by registering an interest in a player here, when the inter-gameweek transfer window opens you will be able to bid for the player using the blind bidding process. The highest bid cast for the player will determine the winner.

Selecting a Captain and a Vice-Captain

From your starting 11 you nominate a captain and a vice-captain. Your captain’s score will be doubled.

If your captain plays 0 minutes in the Gameweek, the captain will be changed to the vice-captain.

If both captain and vice-captain play 0 minutes in a Gameweek, then no player’s score will be doubled.

Player Prices

Player prices change during the season dependent on the performance of the player. Player prices do not change until the season starts. The price of players that have been purchased will be unaffected, and if you pay £10m for a player, you will receive £10m when you sell him.
