Unlikely Stars

The other big points scorer in GameWeek2 was striker Leon Best who bagged a brace to score 14 points in Newcastle’s 2-1 win over Fulham. Franco Di Santo also bagged a brace to collect 14 points in Wigan’s 2-0 win over QPR. Both of these players are currently available on the transfer list.

Charlie Adam (ABCDE FC Beerbelly) continues to offer a solid return and is now Liverpool’s top point scorer however after notching up 16 points against the Trotters with a goal and an assist to take his tally to 25 for the season.

Breached Backlines

While various frontmen filled their boots over the weekend, defenders were predominantly poor scorers with only Stoke, Aston Villa, Wolves and Everton keeping cleans sheets.

Ryan Shotton was the only defender to net for a side who did not concede as he scored the only goal to earn Stoke a 1-0 win at West Brom.
